Butter Swim Biscuits

You'll either hate us or thanks us later for these biscuits. Just look at how beautiful they look so just image how good they taste!




Ingredients:


- 2 1/2 C all-purpose flour

- 4 TSP baking powder

- 4 TSP sugar

- 2 C buttermilk

- 1 TSP salt

- 1/2 C butter


Instructions:


- Preheat oven to 450

- Add flour, baking powder, sugar + salt to a bowl. Use a whisk to sift ingredients

- Pour in buttermilk + stir until mostly combined, do not overwork the batter

- Pour melted butter into an 8x8-inch baking dish. Place the batter on top of the butter + use a spatula to spread the dough evenly

- Cut the unbaked dough into squares

- Bake for 28 minutes or until tops are golden brown

- Allow butter to be absorbed into the biscuits before cutting and serving
