Hot Turkey Salad

Writer: Wright at HomeWright at Home

This one may sound weird to some, but give it a go. This one came out of the "enfjfnsjkdnf". The official name of this dish is the Courthouse Cafe Hot Turkey Salad. This recipe came from The Courthouse Cafe in Whitesburg, Kentucky.

We didn't use the walnuts in this recipe since Merrill isn't a nuts in recipe kind of person.

Ingredients:

- 1/4 C walnuts, chopped

- 3 C cooked turkey breast, diced

- 4 oz shredded Cheddar cheese

- 1/2 C soft, fresh French bread baguette breadcrumbs

- 1/4 C celery, chopped

- 1/4 C mayo

- 1/4 TSP salt

Instructions:

- Preheat oven to 350. Bake walnuts in a single layer in an ovenproof pan for 5 minutes or until lightly toasted + fragrant, stirring halfway through

- Stir together walnuts, turkey + remaining ingredients in a bowl

- Spoon mixture into a lightly greased 8-inch square baking dish

- Bake for 25 minutes or until thoroughly heated
