History on Jackson China:

In 1905, brother Emanuel and Louis Fichel opened Bohemian Art Pottery in Falls Creek, Pennsyvlania. To save the pottery, they contracted with Warwick China Co. of Wheeling, West Virginia in 1913. In 1916, a new type of kiln was used, which used natural gas instead of wood and coal and the company was then rebranded as Jackson Vitrified China Co. In 1985, the company seized to operate as Jackson China Co.
